Here's a little about the person behind the camera...
Originally from the Highlands of Scotland, I've spent most of my adult life in the Peak District with my hubby Daniel and our two beagles. Recently, we made the move back North - to Aberdeenshire. With bases across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, and a base in the Midlands, I love being able to capturing the most incredible wedding days across the country.
I met Daniel in high school, and we've now been together 20 years (wow)! We have two of the softest, most loving (but stubborn) beagles - Jenson & Cooper. There's nothing better than coming back to beagle snuggles after a full day photographing a wedding.

My passion for photography started at a young age. I used to fill rolls of film with holiday photos and snaps of me and my friends just acting daft. Having always been a creative person, I usually have some kind of project on the go; whether it be decorating, a garden project, upcycling furniture, or some form of crafts. I bought my first digital camera in 2006, but little did I know that one day, my passion and creativity would lead me to a "job" that I absolutely love.
My career started out as a construction estimator and I still work in bidding in the nuclear energy sector. As much as I love the challenge of my job, my real passion and creative side comes out when I'm behind the camera. I can't describe how happy it makes me to deliver beautiful memories for my couples, allowing them to relive their happy day time and time again. I feel privileged to be a part of, and share in a couple's special day.
I'm not just there to take photos, I'm there to guide you through, be on hand for any of your needs, and create lasting memories for you to treasure forever.
My Approach
My goal is to leave you with a wedding gallery brimming with genuine fun filled and heartfelt memories for you to cherish forever. I achieve this in an unobtrusive manner, allowing you to relax and enjoy spending time with your loved ones and have an incredible day.
I'll be discreetly present throughout the day, watching for candid moments unfolding and capturing authentic photographs without intruding. I especially love to capture all the intricate details of the day which you have put so much time and effort into creating your vision.

However, I won't be entirely hands-off. I'll be there to help ensure everything runs smoothly and to offer assistance and guidance as needed, whether it be folding a pocket square, pinning button holes, or calming last minute jitters.

I'll coordinate a fun and fast group photo session to ensure that these essential shots are captured but don't take up too much of your celebration time.

I will also ensure that you have time to sneak away from the busy schedule of the day, allowing you to enjoy a few precious moments together as newlyweds. During this time, I will capture some beautiful portraits of you both.​

I will arrange to meet with you before the big day (ideally in person), giving us the opportunity to get know each other, delve into your journey together, and to understand your vision for your special day. Above all, I want to ensure you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera with me as your selected photographer, as this ultimately results in outstanding photographs.
