When and where?
Pre-wedding shoots usually take place around Aberdeenshire and last roughly 30 minutes to an hour, depending how much we end up chatting!
You're welcome to choose your favourite place, or I can suggest a few of my favourite spots - whether that's the beach, a forest, a park or somewhere in the city.
Can I bring the kids / the dog?
Yes, absolutely! Bringing your children along is a great idea - it gives them a chance to get to know me before the big day, so it fall feels a bit more familiar when the camera comes out.
And of course dogs are welcome - I just can't guarantee they won't get more camera time than you!
What is a pre-wedding shoot?
Also known as a couples shoot or engagement shoot, these are a great chance for us to get to know each other a bit better and help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day - especially if the if the thought of being photographed feels a little daunting.
Most couples aren't used to being in front of the camera and worry about what to do with their hands, where to look, or how to stand. With a bit of gentle guidance and a relaxed run-through, you'll feel more confident and what to expect. By the end, most couples say they feel so much more at ease, and that it actually ended up being a really fun part of the lead up to the wedding.
