I have put together a list of the questions I get asked most often. If there's a question you have that's not on the list, please don't hesitate to ask.
What area do you cover?
I am based in Matlock, Derbyshire, but I cover the whole of the UK. I will travel to wherever you want me to. I have lots of family in Scotland, so if you are looking to elope to the Isle of Skye or get married on a beach on the NC500, I'll probably know someone nearby that I can put me up for a night or two.
For weddings abroad, please get in touch with details and I'll happily provide you with a quote.
Can we meet with you before we book?
If you wish to meet up before you book and discuss your requirements face to face, we can do this locally, or if you are a bit further afield, we can have a zoom/teams call.
When should we book a second photographer?
Having a second photographer defiantly comes with its benefits, especially for larger weddings. It will provide you with photos from different angles which wouldn't be possible with one photographer. For example, I will be at the front during the ceremony, whilst the second photographer would be at the back, capturing guest reactions, etc.
They can be capturing candid moments with your guests while we are taking some photos of the two of you together, and they will also help with arranging any large group shots.
The second photographer can also capture additional preparations, if both parties are getting ready in different locations.
How do we book with you?
Once you are happy to go ahead, I will send you an agreement to sign along with a 25% deposit to secure your date. Payment can be made by bank transfer or card payment. I am now also accepting payments in crypto currency.
Do you carry backup equipment and are you insured?
Yes, I always carry two cameras, multiple lenses and back up batteries and memory cards, etc. I have cover for £1,000,000 public liability, and I also have equipment insurance.
Do you edit all of our images?
Yes, all of your images will be personally selected and edited by myself. I will not outsource this.
How many photos do we get?
For a full day photography you usually get around 400 - 600 images.
How long will it take to receive our wedding photos?
I will send you a few sneak previous within a day or two of your wedding. I am to provide your full wedding gallery within 8 weeks of your wedding. Sometimes this can be quicker and I will always aim to get them to you as soon as I can.
Can we print our own photographs?
Yes, you will have full printing rights. This means that you can print as many photos as you like, you can share them on social media and send them to all your friends and family. The only thing you can't do is sell them for commercial gain, without prior permission from Laura Anne Photography.
We do appreciate being tagged on social media, but this isn't a requirement.
