It was a real pleasure to photograph this amazing couple on their wedding day. The Peak Edge holds a special place in my heart, as it is where I married my wonderful husband four years ago. The venue has changed a lot since then, with an amazing extension, refurbished bedrooms, and an outdoor pergola.
I arrived at noon, where I found Nicole in the Haddon suite getting ready with her Mum and her Grandma. Alaina and Hollie were putting the final touches to Nicole's hair and make up when Charlotte arrived with the wedding dress, giving it a final steam before dressing the beautiful bride.
I went with Nicole's Dad to go and meet the groom, who was in the bar with his Dad and brother looking great in his black tie.
The guests started to arrive and soon took their seats in the ceremony room, which had been beautifully styled by Perfect Day Stylists. A zoom link was set up ready to connect to Nicole's family and friends in America who couldn't make it.
Nicole looked stunning as she entered the room with her Dad who looked so proud. The beautiful ceremony, accompanied by a pianist, was followed by a drinks and canapé reception. The weather was still wild outside, but we managed to capture a few photographs on the terrace, below the canopy.
The guests were all seated for the wedding breakfast and the new bride and groom were announced, to reveal Nicole in a beautiful evening wedding gown.
The wedding breakfast was followed by the cutting of the cake and the first dance. The guests continued to dance the night away.
