By far, one of my favourite venues, the Peak Edge Hotel holds a special place in my heart as it's where I married my best friend back in 2017. I'm honoured to be one of the Peak Edge Hotel's recommended wedding suppliers.
With new owners and various enhancements, the Peak Edge Hotel is even more stunning today than it was back in 2017, complemented by the incredible wedding and events team.
Only 5 miles from where I live in Matlock, and 4 miles from Chesterfield, the venue is situated on the edge of the beautiful Peak District and provides a picturesque backdrop for weddings, along with the gorgeous highland cows if you are lucky.
One of the things I love about this venue is that it has everything you need in one place. The hotel offers 27 luxury bedrooms for guests include huge suites, perfect for getting ready in the morning.
Morning Preparations
The stunning Oak Room with it's huge sky lights, crystal chandeliers and it's own bar is the perfect space to create the day of your dreams. Accommodating up to 200 guests, the Oak Room opens out onto a private terrace and the beautiful gardens with an outdoor pizza oven. The grounds also feature an outdoor pergola where you can hold your wedding ceremony if the British weather permits.
Ceremonies
If you're looking for a more intimate space, the Walton Suite is the perfect place to celebrate with up to 60 day guests and 100 evening guests. The Walton Suite is self contained with it's own private bar, toilets and outdoor terrace.
