Whimsical Colourful Wedding

Updated: Jan 9, 2023

Sophie & George planned a magical day to celebrate their marriage with their two little ones, Otis & Iris. I arrived at their family home with Ollie from Visual Weddings to find Sophie getting ready with her Mum, sisters and friends. Sophie dressed in her stunning Charlie Bear gown and veil adorned with stars. The flower girls looked very sweet in their matching tutus and flower crowns and Otis woke from his nap to be dressed in his cute little braces.

I then met George and his groomsmen at the St Chad's Church in Hopwas. Their ceremony was held in front of their closest family and friends and afterwards, although it was a bit drizzly, we took some group photos in front of the beautiful church.

The guests then went on to the Tamworth cricket club, while we took Sophie & George for a few moments alone in the woods behind the church where the sun began to shine through the trees. After capturing some shots of the gorgeous couple, we headed over to the cricket club to find the party in full flow. The marquee was decorated in more colourful flowers and bunting, and the children were playing lawn games while the adults enjoyed a glass of pimms.

Following the hilarious and touching speeches, Fancy Fries served up loaded fries and waffles with all the toppings. Sophie tossed her bouquet while the search was on for the cake cutting. Then her and George took to the dance floor. The first dance was followed with an incredible dance off and then we took the couple out to the cricket grounds to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Sophie & George wanted a family orientated, chilled and casual wedding day where the children could run around and have lots of fun. I feel the day reflected the couple perfectly.
